Right to amend our terms & conditions
Future Intentions Yorkshire reserves the right to amend our terms and conditions at any time, also any of our services may be amended/cancelled without a period of notice. We endeavour to ensure all information is accurate and updated but we do not accept any liability for any omissions or errors. We supply services to individuals, voluntary sector organisations and businesses and women’s community groups.

Our terms and conditions serve to protects the interests of Future Intentions Yorkshire and your organisation/business or individual consumer rights, to ensure each party understands their obligations. 

For all business customers
For all customers accessing training or other services for managers/volunteers with Future Intentions Yorkshire, please read our terms & conditions to ensure you are happy. For all work undertaken with an organisation/community group will have a written contract.

A contract will cover the following:

  • who will provide training room (as appropriate)
  • what training/services booked
  • who will provide refreshments (as appropriate)
  • who is to provide services
  • service date and time
  • payment date
  • who will provide training resources e.g. handout/workbooks
  • cost of services (individually agreed with organisation) depending on what services required and number of volunteers to access service

Bookings
If you wish to book on a course or workshop, you can book your managers/volunteers on a course/courses or other services, please request a booking form through our contact form here and payments can be made by cheque or bank transfer.

Cancellation of services 
If you cancel – you do not have an automatic right to cancel the course and receive a refund, except under the terms and conditions of the cooling off period and at discretion of Future Intentions Yorkshire outside of this period.

Distance Selling Regulations
Under the Distance Selling Regulations if you make a booking over the phone or via our booking form you have the right to cancel within 14 working days of receiving confirmation of your booking.

If course starts within the 14 days cooling off period your right to cancel applies up to the day the course starts.

Cooling Off Period/Change your Mind
If you wish to cancel a course you have booked over the phone, you have an unconditional right to cancel, this cooling off period is 14 working days after receiving confirmation of your booking.

This does not apply if the course starts prior to the end of the cooling off period. If you change your mind about booking on a specific course, but would like to use the credit to book onto an alternative course, please request via email or phone. If this is possible confirmation will be forwarded with the new course booking details.

Refunds
If you wish to request a refund, a refund form will be sent via email or post. If you wish to request a refund outside of these terms and conditions, at the discretion of Future Intentions Yorkshire. Apply in writing to Future Intentions Yorkshire, 11 St Michael Street, Malton. YO17 7LJ.

Payment for services

Business customers only
You will be issued with an invoice after services provided and payment must be within 7 working days of invoice ​date and will be stated on your invoice. Please note our terms and conditions on our Payment Queries below.

New business customers will be requested to make a 30% deposit payment of the total booking cost e.g. a booking for £200 will request a payment of £60 upfront before delivery of services, this amount will be deducted from the total cost of the booking, an invoice for £140 would be payable after delivery of service if total booking was £200.

Payment for services may be made by bank transfer (bank details on request)

Payment queries
If no queries are received within 7 working days from invoice date then this invoice will be deemed accurate and payable. We reserve the right to apply a late payment fee of £15 for overdue payments for services to cover additional administration.

Disputes
We will endeavour to ensure disputes over provided services and costs will be kept to a minimum by making clear our terms and conditions and a signed agreement between the parties. Any disputes will be reviewed and dealt within 21 days of receiving the dispute. If a dispute is unresolved we will seek the support of ACAS to endeavour to resolve any issues with an organisation as promptly as possible and to the satisfaction of both parties.
